About Therapy Plaza
Therapy Plaza started in 2018, built by a team who understands therapy services from the inside. We saw therapists buried in handwritten notes, Word documents, email attachments, and spreadsheets - and built the structured, secure system they actually needed.
Clinical software designed for GPs was either the wrong fit for therapy workflows or prohibitively expensive for small providers. The few systems built specifically for therapists had a habit of shutting down abruptly, leaving practitioners scrambling to retrieve their data at short notice.
Therapy Plaza was built alongside The Expressive Child, a children's therapy service working across schools and clinics. Their day-to-day work shaped the core features - selective note sharing, caseload oversight, portal access for schools.
The result: clinical records at the centre, the right information shared with the right people, and nothing more complicated than it needs to be.
What we believe
- Therapists should spend their time on therapy, not admin.
- Client data belongs to the therapy provider, not the software vendor.
- Security and usability aren't trade-offs - you should expect both.
- Simple tools beat bloated platforms.
